What is an escape room?+
An escape room is a themed room full of puzzles. You enter with nothing – inside you will find useful and sometimes irrelevant objects. The goal is to solve the puzzles within 60 minutes and get back out.
How many people can play?+
2 to 6 people per room. In “The Hunt” and “Operation Mafia” a 7th person is possible as an exception – please book for 6 people and let us know in the comments field. For fire safety reasons a maximum of 7 people per room is permitted. We split larger groups across several rooms, at the same time or one after another.
What is the minimum age to play?+
We recommend a minimum age of 10. From the age of 6, children can take part accompanied by adults. Our rooms are suitable for all age groups – older guests very much included.
Do I have to book in advance?+
Yes. We are open Monday to Friday from 13:00 to 22:00 and at weekends from 09:00 to 22:00, but our staff are only on site when a game has been booked. Booking in advance is therefore necessary.
What do I need to bring?+
Nothing but comfortable clothes and good spirits. Everything you need for the game is provided on site.
Can I cancel my booking?+
A free refund is possible up to 48 hours before your slot – by email to office@can-u-escape.at or by phone on +43 677 61 77 04 87. In other cases we will surely find a solution too.
Is it dark or cramped inside the room?+
All rooms are lit and nobody is locked in: the door can be opened from the inside at any time. “The Hunt” is deliberately dark and uses horror elements – if that is not for you, “The Watchmaker's Secret” is the better choice. Our team is with you the whole time via camera and radio.
